Trimukha Ganapati is a rare and majestic form of Shree Ganesh, red-hued and three-faced, enthroned upon a golden seat set with a lotus, and worshipped as a vision of complete, all-seeing awareness.
Appearance
Trimukha Ganapati's six hands hold a sharp goad and a rosary, with one hand raised in the blessing gesture of varada on his right side, while his left side holds a noose and a pot of ambrosia, with a further hand raised in the fearless gesture of abhaya.
What the Form Represents
Where Dvimukha Ganapati sees in two directions, Trimukha Ganapati's three faces extend that awareness further still, representing complete perception across past, present, and future, or across the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of existence.
What Devotees Seek
Devotees seeking clarity and complete understanding of a complex situation, or wisdom that spans every angle of a difficult decision, turn to Trimukha Ganapati.
